November to March is the best time to go—when penguin chicks hatch and whales arrive. During this voyage, there is a good chance of witnessing the spectacular aurora australis (southern lights).

Though there are no age restrictions , even infants have been but we recommend a minimum age of 10 years. The experience can be incredibly enriching for curious young explorers. However, the ships do not provide any child specific activities.
Wildlife sightings are one of the highlights of both Arctic and Antarctic cruises. While nothing in nature is guaranteed, the chances of seeing penguins, whales, seals, and even polar bears (in the Arctic) are very high with expert guides helping spot them.
You don’t need to be an athlete. Activities are optional and vary from gentle shore walks to adventurous kayaking. Expedition leaders tailor each day to your comfort, ensuring you can soak in the magic without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
The cruise includes all meals, tea, coffee , water, guided excursions, expert talks, polar gear, and equipment for the listed/specific activities. Transfers and pre-voyage hotel stays are not included. These trips are in high demand and sell out early—especially for peak wildlife season—so we recommend booking 9–12 months in advance.
