Greece: Where history comes alive and legends breathe again

Welcome to a journey that owes its existence to a father’s desire to make his daughter’s Percy Jackson dreams come true. This inspired us to design an adventure that takes you on a treasure hunt through ancient ruins and vibrant streets. Spanning all the wonders Greece has to offer, this is a trip where you and your children come as treasure hunters - sharing clues, making discoveries and enjoying victories. You return as heroes. More than sightseeing, it’s laughter, discovery, and memories that will live in your family’s story forever.

The Apricous way

We plan slowly. We build in rest. Every experience is layered with warmth, flexibility, and care — so parents stay relaxed and children stay curious.

01

History Designed as Play

We transform Greece’s past into an interactive experience — where learning happens through doing, not just boring listening.

02

Thinking Together, Not Being Led

Parents and children collaborate as equals — decoding, questioning, and problem-solving side by side.

03

Depth Over Coverage

We explore fewer places, more meaningfully — allowing stories to settle rather than blur.

04

Curated for Shared Intelligence

Challenges are designed to engage young minds without pressure — encouraging curiosity, logic, and confidence.

Experiences & Bonds

Your Story Begins Here

In Greece, every stone whispers of gods and heroes. But for you, the adventure becomes personal. A mysterious letter sets your quest in motion, and from that moment on, every site is no longer history: it’s your stage, your trial, your destiny as a family of explorers. Will You Become a Legend? Gather your companions. Embrace the challenge. Unlock mysteries.

Follow the Clues, Unlock the Myths

From the streets of Athens to the shadows of Delphi, the mythical city of Atlantis ; the  clues lie hidden, waiting for you to uncover them. Each riddle solved is a triumph shared, each puzzle cracked a bond strengthened. This isn’t sightseeing, it’s stepping inside myth, hand-in-hand with those who matter most.

Explore Iconic Greece, Differently

Athens, Parthenon, Delphi, Nafplion, Santorini: these aren’t just stops on a tour, they’re chapters in your story. With every clue and challenge, Greece reveals itself in layers, blending history with mystery, wonder with play. It’s the most unforgettable way to explore through the eyes of adventure and family.

Heroes Made, Not Born

Your children aren’t just watching, they’re playing the role of hero alongside you. Together you’ll face “trials” inspired by Hercules, Perseus, and Achilles. They’ll remember not just Greece, but how you joined them in the laughter, the teamwork, the victories that transformed ordinary days into legends.

Where Every Day is
Designed for You

Following clues through ancient streets and landmarks, parent and child work together to decode symbols, maps, and stories hidden in plain sight.

Exploring ruins and historic sites through guided challenges where one turns observation, memory and teamwork into shared momentum. Island walks and harbour towns where each stop reveals the next piece of the journey . Moments of pause between puzzles, allowing reflection, conversation, and connection to emerge naturally. Evenings spent revisiting the day’s discoveries and recounting the challenges of the day, ideas exchanged and patterns pieced together.

Thank you so much for organizing such a wonderful fun trip. Spent some fun time with my daughter. You really have organized it very well for woman travelers alone, it’s great We both enjoyed all the experiences; the husky ride got the better of us and was a tad scary.

Four days in Finland felt surprisingly full. It wasn’t a long holiday, but it gave us exactly what we needed — time together to reconnect. It was very well planned except for a slight confusion on a meeting point

FAQ's

What is the Apricous Greece Treasure Hunt and how does it work?

The Greece trip was born from a father's wish to bring his daughter's Percy Jackson obsession to life. Apricous turned it into a full adventure: families receive a mysterious letter and follow clues across Athens, Delphi, Nafplion, and Santorini — solving riddles and completing challenges inspired by ancient Greek mythology. It's designed for discovery together, not a guided tour but a shared quest.

What age is the Greece trip designed for?

The experience works from age 4 upwards, but it's particularly engaging for children aged 7 to 14 who can actively participate in decoding clues and solving challenges. Teens and adults find it equally absorbing. Challenges are designed to spark curiosity and teamwork, not to create pressure.

What is the best time to visit Greece with children?

April to June and September to October — warm without the intense midsummer heat of July and August, which can be challenging for children doing active exploration. Minimum recommended duration is 7 to 9 days. Starting price is USD 2,500 per adult.

Can the trip accommodate dietary requirements?

Yes, with advance notice. We can cater to vegetarian, vegan, and most dietary restrictions. We do encourage families — children especially — to try local Greek food. It's one of the ways the culture opens up, and it tends to become part of the story.
